Serena’s early experience with 35mm black and white film sparked an interest in photography.

 

Prior to her fascination with photography, Serena was interested in forensic science, and the concept of analyzing physical crime evidence.

 

While doing an internship at a local Medical Examiners office she tried to focus in telling the story of the way people have died and the events prior to there death. With her photos she can combine her interests of natural beauty and the forensic examination of events.

 

Serena captures images from her viewpoint, at time focusing on specific content and or colors. Her images are not complex or complicated, but rather simple with more than one viewpoint or interpretation telling the whole story.
